Gateshead's latest signing, Adam Boyes, believes he is joining a club with a Football League set up, and is optimistic about the 2013/14 season.
The 22-year-old England C international became the third new striker to join Gateshead this summer after scoring 40 goals for Barrow over the last two years.

The 22-year-old scored an impressive 40 goals in 99 games during a two-year spell at Barrow including the Cumbrians winner at Gateshead on New Year's Day.

Following a meeting of the FA Leagues Committee held earlier today club allocations for Steps 1 to 4 for Season 2013/2014 have been released.
There were some difficult decisions to make, especially at Step 4 and in particular in the Southern League South & West Division.

Gateshead have secured the signature of Crawley Town striker Richard Brodie who will return to his native Tyneside for the 2013/14 season.
Brodie's contract at Crawley, who paid £275,000 for Gateshead-born Brodie in 2010, expires at the end of June.

Gateshead have made their first summer signing with the acquisition of experienced former Chesterfield, Northampton Town and Hartlepool striker Colin Larkin.
The 30-year-old began his career at Wolverhampton Wanderers where he made three appearances for the Molineux club.
