Gateshead FC Academy is hosting taster sessions in June for new and existing teams ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Our academy setup is to introduce two new boys teams at age groups U13 and U14, as well as an all-new U14 girls side, for the upcoming campaign, providing players with the opportunity to play and train within a professional footballing environment which operates directly alongside Gateshead FC.

The academy setup takes players through to under-19 level, with a clear and visible pathway to the club’s first team setup. Players have the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of academy players and graduates who have featured in the first team squad during the 2022/23 season, including Ben Franklin, Connor Pani, Dylan Archer and Oli Thompson.

The taster sessions will take players through a pitch-based technical and tactical session, which will allow them to showcase their skill set alongside current and new academy players.
