U19 forward Oli Thompson was named on the first-team bench for the first time in the club’s 2-1 National League win over Oldham Athletic in February 2022.
Thompson would go on to make his debut just under a month later, coming off the bench in the 10th minute against Farsley Celtic to help Gateshead progress to the 2023 Isuzu FA Trophy semi-final.
