The 24 teams to compete in the 2022/23 Vanarama National League season have now been confirmed.
Sunday’s play-off final at London Stadium saw Grimsby Town promoted to League Two with a 2-1 win over Solihull Moors, who were the final team to be decided for the upcoming campaign in the fifth tier.
Gateshead return to the National League after a three-year absence as champions of the National League North, joined by play-off winners York City who will compete at the highest level of non-league football for the first time since 2017.
The 2021/22 National League South season saw Maidstone United lift the league title to earn promotion back to the National League three years after their relegation, while Dorking Wanderers emerged victorious from a dramatic play-off final to compete in the fifth tier for the first time in their history.
Oldham Athletic and Scunthorpe United join the division following their relegation from League Two, with Latics set to face Gateshead in league competition almost three years after an Emirates FA Cup first round tie between the sides, then two divisions apart, in November 2019.
The Heed will open records against two new sides next season with Dorking Wanderers and Southend United set to visit Gateshead International Stadium for the first time next season.
The 2022/23 Vanarama National League Season is scheduled to begin on Saturday, August 6.
