The young defender joined the club in the summer of 2023, and also appeared for Northern League side West Auckland Town on a dual-registration basis.
Constantin made his senior debut as a substitute against Chesterfield in January 2024, and was handed his first start later that week against Weston-super-Mare in the Isuzu FA Trophy fourth round, before appearing in the following round of the competition at Hereford on Gateshead’s route to the final.
