Brad Nicholson has joined Carlisle United in a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee.
The defender departs Gateshead to join the Enterprise National League side after spending almost six months on Tyneside, joining the club in January 2026.
Nicholson played a key role in Gateshead’s run to achieving Enterprise National League safety in the second half of the 2025/26 season, making 21 appearances as well as amassing two goals and three assists.
