A message from Vice-Chairman, Bernard McWilliams.
It is a major milestone in the club’s history to be able to say that every penny of profit spent at the International Stadium goes back to support ‘wor club’.
From every bite of a pie to every gulp of beer, it takes us so much closer to becoming a self-sufficient club.
Adding the hat of Licensee and Designated Premises Supervisor at the International Stadium has been very interesting, and it has been a steep learning curve.
I feel we have improved as the season progressed, concluding on the final day when over 600 pies and 1,500 beers were served.
Our fans have been exceptional and as pointed out by Safety Officer, John Kerr, your behaviour has been excellent.
I want to issue a massive thank you to all of the staff who have worked so hard in serving you this season, from the concourse and bar staff to the hospitality staff and cooks – it has been a real team effort.
I’d also like to thank all of our suppliers, especially Dicksons, who have made a specially-baked pie to celebrate our promotion to the Vanarama National League.
Everyone who attends the club shop open day this Saturday will receive a raffle ticket and one lucky winner will take it home to enjoy.
Thank you for your unwavering support this season and we look forward to welcoming you back in the National League for the 2022/23 season.
