Aidan Rutledge has departed the club to join Darlington on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee.
The forward leaves Gateshead International Stadium after spending the past two years on Tyneside, originally joining in June 2023 from Northern League side Birtley Town.
Rutledge made 14 appearances across all competitions during his two seasons with the club, and also spent time out on loan in the National League North with Darlington, Scarborough Athletic and Spennymoor Town, with his final stint at The Moors culminating in an appearance at Wembley Stadium in the 2025 FA Trophy final.
