Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm the loan signing of MK Dons defender Callum Tripp.
The 18-year-old makes the temporary move to Tyneside for the remainder of the 2024/25 season to link up with Carl Magnay’s side, for whom Tripp appeared under at MK Dons earlier this season.
The defender has made seven first team appearances for MK Dons during the current campaign, and was named as the club’s September Player of the Month after starting three consecutive League Two fixtures in central defence.
“I’m excited!” said Tripp.
“When I heard [Carl Magnay] was interested, to me it was a no brainer to be honest. I played under him before, and it would be silly not to come and play under him again.
“I just want to play my football to the best of my ability, and give everything I can to this club to get what we want at the end of the season, which is promotion to League Two.”
