Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm the signing of Charlie Colkett on a one-year deal, with an optional one-year extension available at the club’s discretion.
The central midfielder arrives on Tyneside having spent the beginning of the 2023/24 season with Crewe Alexandra, before joining Notts County on loan in February 2024.
The former Chelsea youngster has appeared over 50 times in the Football League across spells with Bristol Rovers, Cheltenham, Crewe Alexandra, Notts County, Shrewsbury Town and Swindon Town, as well as playing 67 times for Swedish side Östersund.
Colkett will wear squad number 34, and is eligible for immediate inclusion in Rob Elliot’s squad for the National League fixture at FC Halifax Town.
