Dajaune Brown has been named as the Vanarama National League’s March Player of the Month!

The forward enjoyed a month of firsts in the penultimate month of the season after arriving on loan from Derby County, kicking off March by netting his first senior goal with an injury-time equaliser at Boreham Wood.

Brown then added his first senior hat-trick to his tally inside the first 22 minutes of our Isuzu FA Trophy quarter final win over Peterborough Sports, before returning to league action by scoring the winner against Dagenham & Redbridge three days later.

The striker then started three consecutive victories over Altrincham, Hartlepool United and Rochdale, scoring another three goals to take his tally to eight goals and four assists in eight appearances across all competitions.

“It was a great feeling to find out that I’d been voted as Player of the Month by both the fans and the league, and to be recognised for what I’m doing,” said Brown.

“I’ve had a pretty good month with the amount of goals that I could contribute to the team, and help us win some games.

“I feel like I’ve been doing well and doing what I know I can do, and it’s been a help having the team supporting me and pushing me to excel.”

Congrats, Daj!
