Darren England has been selected as the match referee for the Isuzu FA Trophy final.
England will referee his second final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, May 21 having previously officiated at the League Two play-off final between Blackpool and Exeter City in 2017.
The Doncaster-born official has refereed 43 Premier League fixtures since his promotion in August 2020, and has taken charge of 16 top-flight matches this season.
The assistant referee team is set to include Matt Jones, who has acted as assistant 35 times this season from League Two to the Championship, and George Byrne, who has been assistant referee for 41 fixtures in the same divisions.
Scott Oldham is set to act as the fourth official at Wembley Stadium, having refereed Gateshead’s semi-final win over Barnet in this season’s competition.
