Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm the loan signing of Sunderland forward Ethan Moore.
The winger arrives on Tyneside until the end of the 2025/26 season after appearing for Sunderland U21s 18 times throughout the season so far, including once against Gateshead in the National League Cup in October 2025.
The 21-year-old made his footballing comeback in September 2025 after missing over two years through a serious knee injury, first ruling him out in March 2023, and now joins Rob Elliot’s side in his first taste of senior football.
“I’ve had quite a tough two years with football,” said Moore.
“I think it’ll be a good challenge for me as a person and a player. I’m really looking forward to it, I think that’s what I need the most at the minute.
“Rob [Elliot] spoke to me, he thinks I have good traits that will really help the team – pace and power, he said I’ll bring that to the team.”
Welcome to Gateshead, Ethan!
