Ethan Pye has been re-called by parent club Stockport County.
The League Two side have opted to end the defender’s loan spell early due to injuries within their first team squad ahead of Saturday’s play-off final against Salford City, meaning Pye will now be unable to appear in the FA Trophy final.
The 20-year-old played an integral role in securing our National League safety, in addition to reaching Wembley Stadium for the second time in the club’s history, being named as the Players’ Player of the Season and Player of the Month twice having made 45 appearances in all competitions.
