The match officials for the 2024 FA Trophy final have been confirmed.

Gateshead travel to Wembley Stadium to compete in their second successive FA Trophy final on Saturday, May 11, facing what should have been their play-off eliminator opponents in the form of Solihull Moors.

Sam Allison has been appointed to take charge of the upcoming final, having become the first black referee to officiate a Premier League fixture since 2008 when he took charge of Sheffield United vs Luton Town on Boxing Day 2023.

Allison has refereed a further two top flight fixtures since then alongside regularly taking charge of Championship, and occasional League One, fixtures.

Championship regulars Craig Taylor and Mark Stevens have been appointed as assistant referees at Wembley Stadium, while Ben Speedie will act as fourth official having officiated across League One and League Two this season.
