We are set to wear our away colours against York City on Monday, January 2 in support of Shelter’s No Home Kit campaign.
The Heed, along with other Vanarama National League clubs, will wear the blue change kit in aid of Shelter’s mission to combat homelessness and poor housing with 25 households being made homeless every 90 minutes.
National League General Manager, Mark Ives, said: “We are delighted to be working with Shelter once again on their #NoHomeKit campaign.
“We had an amazing response last year from the campaign and getting involved again was an easy decision.
“The football community know more than anyone how important the feeling of home is. Every 90 minutes, 25 households are made homeless. That is something we simply cannot ignore.
“For clubs who wish to take part, we are asking them to swap their home kit for their away or third kits for a fixture over the festive period to raise awareness of their devastating impact the housing emergency is having on lives across the country.”
Supporters can purchase tickets for our fixture against York City online here, and are encouraged to join us in wearing their away colours at Gateshead International Stadium.
