Gateshead Football Club is pleased to confirm the appointment of James Rushmore as Communications & Marketing Development Officer.
James will play a key role in the club’s marketing strategy and will work closely with the Commercial Manager in order to maximise future sponsorship and hospitality opportunities, in addition to assisting the Media Manager with the club’s online and print output.
He will also contribute to the club’s overall growth by strengthening pre-existing and new relationships with local and national partners.
James has been involved with the club as a volunteer since September 2019, acting as club videographer and media assistant covering both the first team and ladies’ team over the last two seasons.
“I think it’s a fantastic opportunity and I appreciate everyone at the club for showing faith in me,” said James.
“It’s been a good two seasons working with the club in a different capacity but coming in on a full-time basis will allow me to bring forward my own ideas.”
“There is a lot of potential here at Gateshead and it’s now about making that a reality, so I’m pleased that I can turn my voluntary role into a more permanent fixture to allow me to dedicate more time and effort to the role.”
