Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm the signing of forward Jordy Hiwula until the end of the 2026/27 season.
The striker joins The Heed after spending the 2025/26 season with Enterprise National League side Boston United, scoring seven goals in 39 league appearances for The Pilgrims.
Hiwula arrives on Tyneside with a wealth of Football League experience having made over 200 appearances in League One for clubs including Coventry City, Fleetwood Town and Portsmouth.
The 31-year-old signs on at Gateshead International Stadium to add to Lee Cattermole’s attacking options for the 2026/27 campaign, and is available for immediate inclusion in the match day squad.
“I’m really happy to get it over the line,” said Hiwula.
“I just want to add my quality and my experience, I’ve played at a lot of different levels and hopefully I can add my experience. I’m a hard working forward, and I like to make runs in behind and get on the ball as well.
“If the lads stick together, and we all work together, then hopefully we can do something special.”
