Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm the signing of forward Josh Anifowose.
The winger joins on a permanent transfer from Enterprise National League South side Eastbourne Borough for an undisclosed fee, signing a deal on Tyneside until the end of the 2026/27 season.
The 22-year-old has been a key fixture in Eastbourne Borough’s side this season, making 35 appearances while scoring two goals and recording five assists, having previously played in the National League South with Dover Athletic, Hampton & Richmond Borough and Aveley.
“Josh is a very talented young player, and we are really pleased that he has come to join us,” said Rob Elliot.
“He works hard, wants to learn and will add quality and real attacking threat to the squad, and we are looking forward to working with him over the next 18 months.”
Josh will wear the number 22 shirt, and is eligible for inclusion in the squad for our Enterprise National League fixture at Truro City.
