Kamil Conteh has been called up to the Sierra Leone squad ahead of an international double-header.
Leone Stars travel to Morocco to take on São Tomé and Príncipe in their third and fourth 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches, with Conteh’s side currently sitting third in Group A having played two matches.
John Keister’s side will contest the first fixture on Wednesday, March 22 before facing The Falcons and True Parrots Team again on Sunday, March 26, in an effort to reach the Africa Cup of Nations for the second consecutive tournament after exiting in the group stage at AFCON 2021.
As a result of Conteh’s involvement, he will be unavailable for Gateshead’s Vanarama National League fixtures against Aldershot Town and Dagenham & Redbridge.
