Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm the signing of midfielder Keaton Ward until the end of the 2026/27 season.
The central midfielder arrives at Gateshead International Stadium on a free transfer after spending the first half of the 2025/26 season with Enterprise National League side Altrincham, making 22 league appearances for The Robins to date, after playing a key role in Boston United’s side the season prior with 44 fifth tier appearances to his name.
“I’m really excited!” said Ward.
“I think that the way the club is looking forward, and after speaking to Rob [Elliot], it’s a really good opportunity and I’m looking forward to it.
“The main aim is to keep the football club in the league, and I wouldn’t have come here if I didn’t think we were going to do it. It’s going to be a challenge, but we will do it.”
