Gateshead FC is delighted to welcome Kyran Lofthouse to the club, subject to FA and National League approval.
The wing-back – who is also adept as a winger and in central midfield – joins on loan until January 15, 2024, arriving from League One side Barnsley, whom he joined in the summer after spending three seasons with Woking.
The 23-year-old made over 100 appearances in all competitions for The Cardinals, and has played three times for Barnsley following his move ahead of the 2023/24 season.
“I was drawn to the style, they play good football here and with my skillset, I think I complement it quite well,” said Lofthouse.
“I’ve played against Gateshead before, so I know what they’re about, and it was an interesting offer for me.”
