A number of Leamington players are required to isolate as close contacts following the positive test, and in accordance with league protocols the game has unfortunately been postponed.

Leamington have apologised for the inconvenience caused by today’s postponement, with the club having travelled down on Friday.

The club wishes those affected a swift recovery.

A re-scheduled date for the fixture will be communicated in due course.

Our National League North season opener will now be against Kettering Town at Gateshead International Stadium on Saturday, August 21 (3pm kick off).
