Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm the signing of Lewis Knight on a two-year deal.
The forward arrives from fellow National League side Notts County for a nominal fee, joining Kenton Richardson and Tom Allan as our third summer signing ahead of the 2022/23 season.
The 23-year-old netted five times in 20 Vanarama National League North appearances for Bradford (Park Avenue) last season having returned to the club on loan in January.
Knight scored nine goals in 14 league games for Avenue during the 2020/21 season before joining The Magpies in March 2021, and went on to make eight appearances during the remainder of the campaign.
“I’m very excited,” said Knight.
“I watched Gateshead play last year when I played for Bradford [Park Avenue] and I heard a lot of good things about them, I think the way they play suits me really well.”
