Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm the signing of Lirak Hasani.
The midfielder has agreed a one-year deal at Gateshead International Stadium, with an optional extension at the club’s discretion, after making numerous appearances on trial over the course of pre-season
Hasani joins Gateshead for the second time having joined on loan from Doncaster Rovers in January 2021, with his sole appearance against Guiseley proving to be the final game of the season before the Vanarama National League North campaign was curtailed.
The 20-year-old made 11 appearances for Rovers across all competitions last season, and also spent brief spells on loan with Northern Premier League outfits Basford United and Matlock Town.
“I’m really excited to get it done,” said Hasani.
“I always wanted to sign here because of the feeling I get playing here, training here and from all of the lads and the staff – it’s a great place to be.”
Lirak will wear shirt number 20 and is eligible for inclusion in the match day squad in our National League opener at Dagenham & Redbridge.
