Marcus Dinanga has been voted as your Player of the Month for September 2023!
The forward enjoyed a scintillating run of form in the second month of the season, scoring eight goals in seven games to become the National League’s top scorer, and the first player this season to net double figures in the process.
Dinanga scored three braces – against Eastleigh, Maidenhead United and Oxford City – and also notched two assists during a September which saw Gateshead rise to fourth in the National League table.
Defensive duo Joe Grayson and Robbie Tinkler shared second place after forming part of the defence which kept four clean sheets in seven, while midfielder Ed Francis takes third place after playing an integral role in the centre of the pitch, as well as scoring his first two goals for the club.
