We’ve Met Before
In the most recent meeting between these two sides, The Heed continued their resurgence under Rob Elliot, with a 1-0 National League win on Tyneside, courtesy of an Ash Boatswain goal. Kenton Richardson headed wide in the early stages before Fenton John fired just past the upright.
Gateshead took the lead in the first minute of first-half stoppage time when Boatswain tapped home from Brad Nicholson’s long throw-in. Zak Gilsenan came close after the break and Nathan Tshikuna hit a curling strike past the post for Wealdstone, but The Heed held on.

Grosvenor Vale is easily accessible from Central London and is only a short walk from two London Underground stations; Ruislip and Ruislip Manor.
Our trip to Wealdstone is one of the easiest to make this season if you’re travelling by rail.Our recommended route would be to catch an LNER or Lumo service from Newcastle to London Kings Cross, then change onto the London Underground, using the Metropolitan line to travel directly to Ruislip or Ruislip Manor from London Kings Cross.
If you’re travelling by car, leave the M25 at Junction 16 and take the M40 towards London. At the end of the M40 the road becomes the A40. Take the first exit on the A40, onto the B467 towards Ruislip. At the roundabout at the top of the slip road take the first exit towards Harefield/Ruislip. Continue along the B467, and at the end of the B467 you will reach a T-junction, take a left here onto the High Road.
Follow the High Road passing West Ruislip Station on your right and at the roundabout, take the fourth exit into Wood Lane. Continue along Wood Lane crossing one small roundabout and at the next roundabout bear right onto West End Road. Then take the second left hand turn into Grosvenor Vale and the stadium is located at the bottom of this road.
For the easiest access to the clubhouse and stadium, supporters can park inside The Vale on the large grass areas for £5 per car. Parking is limited to 200 cars and is subject to availability and weather conditions, as the car park is located on grass and must be suitable for vehicular access. Parking can be purchased in advance from Wealdstone’s ticketing website here.

Bars & Pubs
Positioned near to The Vale entrance gates just behind DD’s Catering truck, the Family Zone is accessible to fans of both sides before the game from 13:00. It contains fun, family-focused activities, a toys & sweets stall, face painting and a mobile bar unit for adult refreshments.
The Vale Social Club will be open before and after the game for both sets of supporters, andat half-time for Wealdstone fans ONLY. Hot and cold food and drinks will be available to purchase both inside and outside the ground in both home and away sections.

Gateshead suffered another difficult defeat on Saturday afternoon, shipping four goals away to Wealdstone in the Vanarama National League.
Two goals in each half from Gary Waddock’s side meant bottom-placed Gateshead suffered a fourth consecutive league defeat.
Lee Cattermole rang in the changes from last week’s heavy defeat against Southend United. Pete Jameson, Keon Lewis-Burgess, Rocco Coyle, Luke Supyk, David Eguaibor and new signing Alfie McCalmont were all called into the starting 11.
The Heed started brightly as Supyk forced a fantastic save from Stones goalkeeper Dante Baptiste with a strike from distance, and he later made another great stop against Jordy Hiwula.
However, Wealdstone’s opener arrived on 22 minutes when Olufela Olomola tucked home Luke Norris’ cross from a tight angle.
It went from bad to worse for Gateshead as Alex Lankshear committed a foul in the box, and Norris stepped up to convert the resulting penalty on 33 minutes.
Norris missed another big chance as the clock ticked half-time, but Wealdstone wouldn’t have to wait much longer until their third goal came.
Dan Chesters played the ball across goal for an unmarked Jack Wells-Morrison to tap home on 47 minutes from point-blank range.
Wealdstone substitute Jack Cook made it 4-0 on 84 minutes. Aaron Henry’s free-kick was parried by Jameson, but Cook was there to fire the rebound into the back of the net.
Deep into added time, Fejiri Okenabirhie hit the bar with a header for Wealdstone, before the referee called time on proceedings with the score 4-0.
