Gateshead Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Hull City defender Matty Jacob on an initial five-month loan deal until January 15, 2022.
The 20-year-old joined Hull at under-9 level and spent last season appearing for The Tigers’ under-23 side before going on to captain the team on a number of occasions.
Jacob has also been involved in Hull’s first team during their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2021/22 EFL Championship season.
The left-sided defender spent a brief loan spell at Pickering Town towards the end of the 2019/20 season, appearing 12 times.
