Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm the signing of central midfielder Max Sheaf following his departure Scottish Premiership side Ross County, subject to international clearance.
The 24-year-old arrives at Gateshead International Stadium on an 18-month deal after spending the past 18 months with The Staggies, making 19 appearances across all competitions.
Sheaf has previously appeared against Gateshead during a one-season spell with Gloucester City during the 2021/22 campaign, which saw him play 19 times in the National League North.
“I’m looking forward to getting going,” said Sheaf.
“A big attracting point was the style of play, the people that surround the club – everything about it appealed to me.
“You play your best football when you’re enjoying it, and sometimes that’s quite rare, so places like this are a great opportunity to go and enjoy your stuff.
“The main thing for me is to keep pushing the club to where it’s aiming to be.”
