Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm that Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital will continue as the club’s official healthcare partner into the 2022/23 season.
The extension of the current partnership sees Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital strengthen their association with the club, having provided medical services to players for a number of years in addition to stadium and training kit sponsorship.
The 2021/22 season saw the partnership enable players to visit Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital in Jesmond for post-injury scans, treatment plans and surgery where necessary.
Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital campaigned alongside the club to raise awareness around several health-related issues last season including Movember, Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and Veganuary.
The 22/23 season will see Nuffield Health Newcastle Hospital visit Gateshead International Stadium on select match days to offer advice and information to supporters on a variety of health-related issues, with further details to be confirmed in due course.

“Their work with the club’s first team players played a key part in last season’s success, and their input on a number of health-related campaigns provides supporters with vital information that can help save lives.
