Next up on the road for The Heed is a 404-mile round trip from Gateshead to Damson Park, home of Solihull Moors, on Saturday, February 22 (3pm kick off).

Solihull come into Saturday’s game in the midst of an adjustment period following manager Andy Whing’s departure to League Two side Barrow, with ex-Wealdstone boss Matthew Taylor taking the reins in his place.

The Moors are winless since the start of the year having picked up one point in 2025 – away at Taylor’s former club Wealdstone at the start of the month –  with Taylor overseeing one draw and three defeats so far.

Travel Information

Via Bus

The Damson Park bus, heading from the Railway Station to Damson Park, is the most straightforward option to reach Solihull Moors’ home ground.

Via Rail

The nearest railway station is Solihull, served by Chiltern Railway and West Midlands Railway. It is almost a one hour walk from the station to Damson Park, though the bus route past the stadium is the X12 (National Express West

Midlands) which runs between Solihull town centre and Birmingham via Birmingham International Airport, with services around every 20 minutes during the day. The nearest stop is called Old Damson Lane and is right outside the stadium.

Taxis are also available, with local company A2B Radio Cars contactable via phone at 0121 744 1111.

Via Car

If travelling by car, then from the North, leave the M42 at Junction 6 and follow the A45 for two miles towards Birmingham.

Go past Birmingham Airport on your right and then past the Allen Kia Garage on your left. At the traffic lights, take the left-hand filter lane onto Damson Parkway.

Continue for approximately one mile until you reach the roundabout at the entrance to the Jaguar Land Rover Works. Go around the roundabout and back down the other side of the dual carriageway for 100 yards to the ground entrance on your left.

Parking spaces can be reserved via Solihull Moors’ website here prior to the game, as the immediate area around the ground is a ‘red route’ on a dual carriageway, and supporters are not permitted to park here. Supporters are advised to arrive at the ground in good time to find a convenient parking space.

Bars & Pubs

The Solihull Moors clubhouse is located just outside Damson Park, with away supporters welcome.

The Damson pub, reachable via a 15-minute walk from the ground, is also open to away supporters.
