Owen Mason’s loan deal from Mansfield Town has been extended until the end of the 2024/25 season, subject to FA clearance.
The goalkeeper arrived on Tyneside on temporary terms from the EFL League Two side in November 2024, and has gone on to make 12 appearances since then, playing his part in six wins.
Mason will now remain at Gateshead for the remainder of the current campaign, with his original loan deal expiring on January 15.
