Gateshead Football Club can confirm the departure of academy coach Matty Pattison.
Pattison joined the club as academy coach in the summer of 2019 and has worked with the under-18 and under-19 teams during his two years in the role.
Pattison also made 59 appearances for the club’s first team, having originally joined in October 2014 and spending an initial two seasons on Tyneside, before appearing twice during the 2019/20 season alongside his coaching role.
The club would like to thank Matty for his contributions as both a coach and a player, and wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavours.
Academy coach Mark Spencer will now take charge of the under-18 squad, while Ben Clark will lead our under-19’s.
