Gateshead went unbeaten across five fixtures in all competitions in December, recording three wins in the Vanarama National League while also notching an 8-1 Isuzu FA Trophy win over Farsley Celtic alongside gaining an extra point in the National League Cup with a penalty shoot-out victory over Sunderland U21 following an initial 2-2 draw.
