Left the club following the end of the 2023/24 season.
The Scottish midfielder joined on a one-year deal in the summer of 2023 following a brief trial period on Tyneside which saw him score twice in two appearances against Harrogate Town and South Shields.
McBride went on to make 34 appearances for the club during the 2023/24 season, scoring five goals and recording five assists as Gateshead finished sixth in the National League and lifted the Isuzu FA Trophy for the first time.
