Robson joined on loan from Carlisle United in March 2025, signing a deal until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old arrived at Gateshead International Stadium on temporary terms after spending the 2024/25 season at Brunton Park, having also made over 100 appearances across the second, third and fourth tiers of English football.
Robson made 33 League Two appearances for MK Dons during their run to the fourth tier play-off semi-final in 2023, and also made 36 appearances for Blackpool as they earned promotion to the Championship via the 2021 League One play-off final.
