Humbles joined on loan from Salford City in December 2023.
The midfielder spent three months on loan at fellow National League side Altrincham prior to his arrival on Tyneside, making eight league appearances for The Robins – including playing against Gateshead in the 2-2 draw at the J. Davidson Stadium in October.
Humbles has made 11 League Two appearances for Salford across the past two seasons, and made his debut for the club in an EFL Trophy tie against Bolton Wanderers in September 2023.
