Midfielder
Akinola joined on a free transfer from Chesterfield in March 2025, signing a deal until the end of the 2025/26 season.
The central midfielder arrived from The Spireites after stints on loan with fellow Vanarama National League sides Dagenham & Redbridge and Solihull Moors during the 2024/25 season, as well as appearing five times for Chesterfield across all competitions.
The 23-year-old made 31 appearances for Chesterfield across the 2022/23 season as they reached the National League play-off final, with Akinola appearing as a substitute in the final against Notts County at Wembley Stadium.
