Rob Elliot has been named as the Enterprise National League’s March Manager of the Month!
The Heed’s remarkable run towards National League safety saw Elliot oversee five wins in March against Braintree Town, Solihull Moors, Wealdstone, Yeovil Town and York City in addition to draws against Sutton United and Southend United.
Those results contributed to Gateshead’s incredible escape from relegation since February, with The Heed going from 11 points adrift at the bottom of the league table to safe with two games to spare following last weekend’s win at Aldershot Town.
