Gateshead FC was delighted to welcome Utilita Energy as a back-of-shirt sponsor for the 21/22 season. Since then, Utilita has continued to be an exemplary and incredibly engaged sponsor of the club, rallying behind the Gateshead FC Foundation with its support of the Junior Heed Club.
In 2021, Utilita Energy further demonstrated its commitment to grassroots football through the launch of its Football Rebooted campaign. The eco-conscious campaign brought former England goalkeeper, David James MBE, to Cramlington’s North of England tournament during the summer. Here, James was encouraging locals to donate and claim pre-played football boots and Astro Boots. The initiative is intended to support families who wish to facilitate participation for their children in football, but who may be challenged financially. Gateshead FC was proud to support the fantastic campaign in an effort to make football a more inclusive and accessible sport for all.
