Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm the loan signing of forward Tyrell Sellars-Fleming from Hull City.
The 19-year-old joins from the EFL Championship side on a temporary basis until the end of the 2024/25 season, having spent the past two seasons within The Tigers’ under-21 and first-team setups.
Sellars-Fleming has made six appearances as a substitute in the second tier for Hull, as well as starting in the club’s EFL Cup first round tie at home to Sheffield Wednesday in August 2024, and extended his contract until June 2027 at the MKM Stadium in November 2024.
The striker has enjoyed a standout season in the Professional Development League with The Tigers, and is the league’s current top scorer with 12 goals across the 2024/25 campaign with Hull sitting second in the North section of the division.
“I just can’t wait to make an impact and impress the fans, coaches and the players,” said Sellars-Fleming.
“I hope I can bring goals, exciting play, and help the team get to where we want to be.
It’s what you want to do as a footballer, you want to win things and compete at the highest level, and being near the top of the table is definitely something I look forward to.”
