Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm the signing of defender Max Melbourne on an initial one-year deal with an optional extension.
The left-sided defender joins The Heed after appearing as a trialist during our National League Cup opener against Newcastle United U21, having most recently played with Morecambe in the Football League.
The 26-year-old played 39 games for The Shrimps before departing at the end of the 2023/24 season, and has previously turned out for Lincoln City and Fleetwood Town in League One and League Two respectively.
