Allan signed a two-year deal with the club in June 2022 following his release from Newcastle United.
The forward scored one goal in seven appearances prior to joining Spennymoor Town on loan in September, before injury cut short his 2022/23 season after his recall in March 2023.
Allan would go on to make 15 appearances during the 2023/24 season and flourished under Rob Elliot during the back end of the campaign, most notably assisting Dajaune Brown’s equaliser in the 2024 Isuzu FA Trophy final.
