Defender
The defender penned a one-year deal in June 2022, which was extended by a further year in June 2023.
Richardson made 33 appearances in all competitions during the 2022/23 season, becoming a key part of Gateshead’s defence whether at centre back or full back, and was also capped by England C in March 2023.
The central defender made a further 45 appearances in the following season as Gateshead finished in the National League play-off places for the first time since 2014, and started at Wembley Stadium as The Heed lifted the 2024 Isuzu FA Trophy.
