A message from Safety Officer, John Kerr.
On behalf of the safety and security team, I’d like to say a huge thank you to all supporters who attended our final home game against Hereford.
The way our wishes were carried out following the final whistle meant that we were able to go ahead with the on-pitch presentation ceremony as planned.
It was exemplary the way all but one person remained in the stands as requested until we were set up.
We took an informed decision that our fans would behave as asked and told The National League that this would happen. They were very impressed by how things went.
Finally, I’d like to personally thank you for making my first full season as Safety Officer so trouble free.
I feel that we have an ongoing relationship between fans and stewards that has turned into one of mutual respect and works so well for both parties. Long may it continue.
