Gateshead FC Academy U19s are set to hold open training sessions in September ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Fresh from a double winning season in which they lifted the National League Alliance Division I and Alliance League Cup trophies, our U19s are to host open sessions to fill the few remaining spaces in their squad ahead of the new season.
Prospective players will train alongside the existing squad under the guidance of new U19s coach Ian Skinner and assistant coach James Montgomery, with sessions to be held at Gateshead International Stadium on Friday, September 9 and Monday, September 12 (10:45AM).
Three of last season’s U19 squad – Eddie Thomas, Kyle Errington & Lewis Leech – signed professional contracts at Gateshead International Stadium, joining Connor Pani and Elliot Forbes as members of the current first team squad to have progressed through our academy pathway.
