Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm the signing of Adi Yussuf, subject to international clearance.
The Tanzanian-born striker arrives at Gateshead International Stadium with a wealth of Vanarama National League experience, having appeared 154 times and scored 37 goals across spells with a number of clubs in the fifth tier.
Yussuf’s most prolific stint came with Solihull Moors during the 2018/19 season, scoring 14 times in 45 league appearances as well as netting three goals in three Emirates FA Cup fixtures.
The 30-year-old spent the 2021/22 season with Yeovil Town, scoring six goals in all competitions, and most recently appeared twice for Gibraltar Football League side St Joseph’s in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
“I’m looking forward to it, I can’t wait!,” said Yussuf.
“I’m a positive guy and I’m very ambitious – I would like to think in any environment I always try and be positive.
“Hopefully I can be a good influence, help the younger lads, and encourage the younger generation coming up.”
Yussuf has been assigned shirt number 45, and is available to sponsor for the 2022/23 season by emailing info@gateshead-fc.com.
