Cedwyn Scott has been named Vanarama’s National League North March Player of the Month.
The forward takes home the award having netted four goals in five games last month, including his first hat-trick in Gateshead colours in a 4-0 home win over Curzon Ashton.
Scott is joint-second in the division’s scoring charts with 22 league goals, tied with team-mate Macaulay Langstaff, and one behind leading goalscorer Nick Haughton with seven games remaining.
The March award is the third time a member of Gateshead’s first team squad has been recognised by the league this season with player-manager Mike Williamson earning the December Manager of the Month Award, before Greg Olley was named as January’s Player of the Month.
The Player of the Month award will be presented to Cedwyn prior to kick off at Saturday’s home fixture against Chester.
Congratulations, Ced!
