Gateshead Football Club would like to thank Gateshead Soul Supporters Society for their sponsorship of this weekend’s away trip to Brackley.
A generous gesture from one of Gateshead Soul’s members has greatly contributed to the first team squad travel costs on Friday, ahead of this Saturday’s game at St James Park.
This is not the first time generous Heed fans have very kindly made contributions towards the additional costs associated with the first team’s overnight travel.
The Heed travel to Brackley sitting top of the Vanarama National League North, three points ahead of Saturday’s opponents prior to kick off.
“It’s great that the supporters’ society can help towards the promotion push,” said Tracie Wilson, Chair of Gateshead Soul.
“Being able to properly prepare for the game is very important and it is essential players are rested and ready for the challenge ahead.
“In order to continue supporting the club we need more fans on board so please consider joining the Soul and helping us reach our goal and become shareholders in our club.”
Club Chairman, Neil Pinkerton, added: “It is testament to how well the club is doing both on and off the field that supporters are on board in these difficult times.
“As a club we greatly value our supporters.”
