Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm the loan signing of Carlisle United midfielder Ethan Robson until the end of the season, subject to National League approval.
The 28-year-old arrives at Gateshead International Stadium on temporary terms after spending the 2024/25 season at Brunton Park, and adds experience in central midfield with over 100 appearances across the second, third and fourth tiers of English football.
Robson made 33 League Two appearances for MK Dons during their run to the fourth tier play-off semi-final in 2023, and also made 36 appearances for Blackpool as they earned promotion to the Championship via the 2021 League One play-off final.
“I’ve worked with Mags a little bit before at Carlisle, and I’m looking forward to working with him again,” said Robson.
“It’s been a tough few games for us, but if we keep training like we have today and keep listening to the manager, we should be ok.
“We’ve obviously got a tough game at the weekend, but there’s no reason why we can’t go there and put on a good performance and hopefully get the three points.”
Welcome to Gateshead, Ethan!
